The project was executed from June 2nd, 2022 to December 15th, 2022. Achievements made in this project: 1.Gathered municipal solid waste treatment policies and management system in the international community including the European Union, Japan, China, South Korea and Singapore. The policy orientations are towards circular economy and sustainable resource recycling. 2.Analyzed municipal solid waste generated and disposal amounts during January to September 2022. Municipal solid waste generated 8.16 million metric tons, including 4.95 million metric tons (61 %) resource waste, 0.37 million metric tons (4 %) food waste, and 2.85 million metric tons (35 %) trash. Estimated the municipal solid waste production, the incineration facilities were satisfied. However, in case of unsatisfied, the regional cooperation mechanism can also be used to assist in dealing with it. 3.Assisted the outline for the reduction, recovery and resource recycling between 2023-2027, submit it for review, approval and management, collected the promotion projects, and the resource waste collection increment rate is much higher than the target value. 4.With the policy promotion of the Green Life and Consumer Group, selected circular procurement 3 products (laptops, tablets and water dispensers) to be included in the inter-entity supply contracts for lease; collected the list of service providers and product specifications; propose the outline and promotion strategy; collected circular procurement system, and completed 8 actual interview cases to propose the circular procurement guidelines; assisted in handling the meetings.
